We are reimagining how primary schools teach cyber safety and digital wellbeing.

Marty is a highly experienced primary school teacher with a rich background in supporting all aspects of digital technologies across schools in Victoria and Queensland. His passion and energy stem from a belief that there’s always a better way to approach challenges and inspire change.

A lifelong advocate for empowering children to navigate the digital world safely and confidently, Marty’s commitment to this mission is reflected in the very name of his business, Inform and Empower, which he founded in 2017. Since then, he has led countless parent information sessions, professional development workshops, and, most notably, the dynamic incursions that have become a hallmark of the program.

Beyond his work in schools, Marty’s expertise has taken him abroad, presenting at conferences in New Zealand and the USA. A tech enthusiast through and through—though perhaps not when it comes to piloting drones (ask him about that story)—Marty’s curiosity keeps him on the cutting edge.

Primary school teacher extraordinaire who is also an innovation & digital technologies teacher at St John’s Primary School, Footscray. You’ll find Bess knee deep in Beebots, iPads, Chromebooks and anything else that has a bluetooth pulse! As a mum to three young boys she is also very quickly becoming a Minecraft & Roblox expert.

Bess’s official title is our Creative Director. This means she pushes her MacBook to the limit designing all the graphics for our incursions as well as video editing, lesson design and more! In short, ensuring Marty doesn’t share anything that looks too much like a Grade 4 child created it.

Karly has the most eclectic skillset in the office, which says a lot! She has a background in journalism and zoology and is on her way to becoming a teacher, too. When she's not hosting live streamed incursions at Inform & Empower, you can find her leading safaris at Werribee Open Range Zoo!

Abby is the behind-the-scenes guru who ensures schools have all their questioned answered and everything runs smoothly. Whether it’s sharing information, organising dates and times for events or offering guidance, Abby is your go-to for seamless collaboration.

Our incredible resident psychologist & mum. Carley likes to share that she is 18 years into an exhaustive (and often exhausting) research project into child & adolescent technology use…aka raising 3 kids. Professionally, she brings 20+ years experience as a psychologist supporting children, adolescents and adults.

Carley co-presents Raising Kids in a Digital World as well as a range of other seminars for parents and carers. These include ‘Starting school’, ‘Managing Big Feelings’ and ‘Tackling Tricky Conversations’.

Jem appears in our Ollie Online & Screentime Superstars incursions and is our resident puppeteer. She brings with her a wealth of showbiz experience and expertise. You might be familiar with her work as Hootabelle's puppeteer on ABC's Giggle & Hoot and she also puppeted for Coldplay during their 2024 Australian tour!

Damo is the man responsible for our amazing, catchy, dance-along cyber safety and digital wellbeing songs for the early years (F-2). As a music therapist and popular children’s musician, we work collaboratively with Damo to craft original songs to engage our youngest learners. Check out his handy work on our YouTube Channel.

Her ability to bring our ideas to life is nothing short of magical.  Whether it's a logo that becomes the face of our brand, characters that tell our stories, or backdrops that set the stage for our shows, her work has played a pivotal role in shaping our visual identity. Each creation by Cassie is a testament to her creativity and imagination.
